I was very close to not posting a blog today. After work we ran quick errands and then jumped into yard work after eating. While Chris mowed the lawn, I trimmed before completing cleaning out my flower bed that had grown over and been overwhelmed with vines from a single plant that is now everywhere! After an hour and a half of that we both still had to shower and once I sat down I didn't move till it was time for bed. I was in bed and thought, "I never did my blog." It's 11:20 and I should be trying to sleep. Instead I'm sitting here throwing together something. I can't help but to wonder if anyone reads this except for the one friend who told me she does.
One of my favorite blogs does a question of the day and I think it's great because people post and it gives her that encouragement and relief that there are people who read her blog and care to respond.
I'm going to buy some flowers to plant in my garden. What would you plant?
What are your favorite flowers?

Here is the recipe of the day: If you go to Panera, these may be familiar. My mom found the recipe many years ago when it was published in a cookbook in the late 1970s. Panera took this recipe and added mint to it during the winter months. I like it just the way it is and I have great memories of rolling the little balls in sugar with my mom.

I don't think an explanation is really necessary. Browse and search for items on Etsy including the option to search by color. Something to keep my very enthralled for long periods of time looking at things I want and cannot have.
Daisies! :)
