I promise I will make an actual decent post this week now that I am rested from my 12 days straight of non-stop working and my mood has increased immensely.
Firstly, yesterday (October 15) is the my furbaby's (estimated) birthday. He's a whole year old!
It's amazing how fast he went from this tiny baby...
To a big boy who has grown into his fur.
As a birthday treat we bought him a Fancy Feast Appetizer of Salmon, but he only ate about 1/4 of it. But he seemed pretty content with cuddles and kisses.
Secondly, though I'm sure the average person would mention this as the first thing...
I got a new job!!! I start next Monday with an accounting firm as an administrative assistant. This is only my 3rd job so I'm very nervous about measuring up, but I'm going to work very hard.
Though I did realize a bit of a dilemma on Thursday when preparing my outfit for my 2nd interview. My clothes don't fit. I just gave two blouses to my friend because they were too big for me now, and since I have never had a job which required professional dress daily, I realized I don't have enough clothes!
I'm going to try and pick up pieces here and there, but with the bills increasing and Christmas on its way. I'm going to have to stretch my money.
Which is why I can't have nice things like this:
As I turned to face Nikki holding up Carlos here, I stated with a squeal of glee"This will look great next to the other ones." Which is a valid statement, but apparently an odd one.
We do have two other severed heads hanging from our porch, made in good ol' China of course, not in my non-existent evil lair. But these guys are $30+ and I guess I will just have to postpone adding to the family. Guess I'll check later down the road on their website.
Sorry Mr. Giggles and Stitches, you two will remain a duo for now.
I promise to post Halloween decor pics this week too. I still have some things I'm trying to make on my own. I'm also planning some sweet decor ideas for Trick or Treat and Trunk or Treat night.
