WoW Abilities I Wish I Had... To Be Helpful

So in the last post, I talked about abilities that would help prolong life, now I'm about to talk about the whole reason this started. I am lazy. Not super lazy, but I'm not as rambunctious as some people. This whole thing started with the fact that I wanted to get coffee on my way to work, but wasn't sure how busy Starbucks was at 8am. I could just get up earlier and leave the house earlier. Or I could have something like, I dunno Eagle Eye or Far Sight that would allow me to see the drive-thru line on top of the hill where the coffee shop is perched.

Only 2 cars, but are they getting coffee for the whole office?

These abilities are relatively useless in the game, I used them at times pre-Cataclysm to see places that were previously inaccessible out of curiosity, but they can't be used indoors, which also applies to dungeons. This would be so helpful if you could cast it to see around a corner (like Mind Vision without the utilization of a person).

Or I suppose I could get up earlier if I really want coffee...

 Money Making Buffs!

Ah, Detect Invisibility! It is no longer in the game and frankly I can't think of anywhere it was useful except the houses by Raven Hill Cemetary in Duskwood (and by useful, I mean usable, there was no need to see those ghosts...).

But when applied to REALITY. Now, if you don't believe in ghosts this is still useless in reality (also you need to talk to me about the apartment I lived in cause that place is freaking haunted). Imagine how much money someone who can cast this spell could make on a ghost tour! Sure you are limited to live tours as I am sure it doesn't work on cameras, but you would make a fortune (so long as the ghosts didn't kill your participants).

Water Breathing:  Want to teach swimming lessons without getting kicked in the face by a panicked child? This might help. Also you could be a mermaid!

  Get What You Want, Instantly

Instant gratification is a something many struggle with, especially when it is more likely not-so-instant, probably when I'm older, or one day when I'm dying gratification. Mind Control can be a very versatile tool to get what you want from others. When you can't get others to do your bidding, Presence of Mind could instantly finish your dinner or speed up assignments at work/school. Simply cast POM then cast, Shakespeare paper. It may not be an awesome paper though (but please, it's about Shakespeare...).

For the more adorably petite individuals, something like Levitate would be helpful to get things down from the top shelf at the grocery store. That way your husband doesn't stand there and stare while you strain to get a can of soup only to ask if you need help once you have wiggled it to the floor.

The Other Stuff

This is a no-brainer, I should have mentioned this in the last post; Conjure Refreshment. I mean, come on! Magically make food! No cooking! And what makes it better, almost all of them are pastries. I can have cake whenever I want? Yes, please!

Side Effects may include requiring your friends and family to roll you from place to place.

Lastly, this can presumable useful in a number of ways. It can also be incredibly dangerous for everyone involved.

Leap of Faith is something I never get to use because I never play my priest but I see people use if for useful situations. I could save people from burning buildings or yank back suicide jumpers...

But seriously, how safe is it to yank a human being toward your face at high speeds? Ever mess around on one of those inflatable things with the bungees that get strapped to you and you see how far you can make it before it jerks you back like you suffered a Force push? No? Oh, you should cause it is quite exhilirating.

Till you think about that happening with a person being thrown at you.
