I just want to sleep... all week

My yard sale yesterday was pretty successful despite how few people were having yard sales in the community. I made about $73.00 and got rid of things that had overstayed their time with us.

I also sold things that I did NOT expect to sell. Like my grandmother's chrome paper towel and foil dispense and a terrifying clown head.... thing which the buyer referred to as beautiful. My friend and I were discussing the night before how scary it was.

Overall, I thought it was very successful. Very tiring, but successful nonetheless. I wish I could have slept in. Yard Sales should start later.
My reward for my hard work was to go buy new shoes since my main pair was falling apart and I bought some cute brown wedges (in the picture below).

Today I got to wear my other pair of tights from We Love Colors and even though my dress was apparently too big, I was happy because of my tights. Most of the things I'm wearing are about two years old and the dress is now too big and the cardigan is looking rough, so you can't go find these in store now.

Necklace, Scarf in my hair and the Dress: Target
Shoes: American Eagle brand from Payless
Tights: Turquoise from We Love Color
Cardigan: Old Navy
Butterfly Brooch: Was my grandmother's

When my grandmother passed away, one of the few things that I wanted was a bright blue plastic jewelry box and some of the jewelry inside. I ended up with most likely all her jewelry and other little trinkets in the box including the brooch I wore today. It was tough to get a picture of because of how shiny it is, but it's a butterfly with small gems in its body and a pearl for its head. Cute ^_^

I spent the majority of post-yard sale Saturday looking at Etsy and various style blogs. I'd have to say my favorite that I looked at which I am now following is Scathingly Brilliant.

You should go see her site if you have time because its fabulous!

I want to do a cute little beehive like she has, but after watching the tutorial and trying to do it without the Puffy Pony she uses... I have determined I need longer hair. Maybe down the road I can give it a go! Her outfits are too cute and her blog is adorable.
