Chicago Part 1

My current job requires that I travel about 4 times per year to run a registration desk that includes registering doctors, selling books, and keeping it running without (many) setbacks. I don't particularly like the traveling part and I work 10-12 hours per day at these conferences.
The one trip I don't mind as much is the Chicago trip. For the last 3 years, I have gone with my husband.

The first year we really didn't do much. Last year we had the fortune of being there the same weekend as the amazing Yoshida Brothers! So we were lucky enough to see them in concert (it was AMAZING!!!)
This year, we were much more accustomed to the area and ventured out to shop and see some sites. (And walk off a couple pounds!)

One of the best parts of business trips is I usually get to go to P.F. Chang's (mmmm) which we hit on Wednesday. After dinner we (my husband and I along with my boss and his family) walked part of the magnificent mile. I was so busy gawking at the sites to take enough pictures till we got to our overall destination. At the Water Tower Place

Our Mag mile journey took us to the Lego store for my boss' kids, but while they were browsing Chris and I ventured 9 of the floors in the same building. I didn't snatch up anything here, but I did take a few photos of the Lego Store's displays.

All "Pictures" and displays are, of course, made from Lego blocks.

Once we got back to the room, we were tuckered out and hit the sack.

More to come in the next post...
