Sickness and the Black Death

Do you ever feel a cold coming on and you feel like you’re on your deathbed… but you’re still going to work and going about your daily routines? I’m almost there. I’ve had this eminent cold lurking around me half the week and I’ve been trying to take care of myself by drinking fluids, taking (nasty) cold medicine, and relaxing a bit. I feel like last weekend through Trick or Treat night was a lot of stuff to do in a short period of time and I successfully wore myself out.

Also, going out into the cold rain to take treats to munchkins in my gypsy outfit probably didn’t help.
Ugh, player one needs cough drops badly.
To relax, I thought I would lay on the couch tonight and watch some of Bones season 6 since Chris got me Hulu (since Netflix didn’t have it and I am a whole season behind). Refer back to the start of this paragraph that says, “I thought”. THEY ARE TAKING IT DOWN!!! Hulu is adding season 7 and is taking down season 6!!!! I finally have a way to watch it and its being snatched from my grasp! Argh!!!

Calm…Deep breath…. Cough… Try again…
To ease the pain, I watched Season of the Witch. I wanted to see this movie from the moment I saw the preview. I was told it sucked. IMDB users gave it bad reviews. I must say, this is rubbish. It is not a movie for everyone. It was clearly made for a select audience. The people who did the ratings are clearly not in that select group. Did you like “In the Name of the King? (the Dungeon Siege movie)? Kingdom of Heaven? Movies like Van Helsing? Yes? You might like this.
I personally thoroughly enjoyed it and will surely have nightmares because of the fight scenes at the end. I don’t like scary crawly distorted creepers.
I was also impressed at how incredibly creepy Claire Foy is throughout. It’s hard to believe she’s my age.

Also, I love Ron Perlman. I would like to fist-bump him before he leaves this world. They should have a contest where the winner gets to fist-bump Ron Perlman. I would cash in all my stored up luck and karma for that moment.

That’s all I’m writing for now. It’s bedtime. I have another post almost prepared for tomorrow and should have one to put up during the weekend! I’m on a roll! Where’s the butter?!
